La Garrotxa

47064319
La Masia is located in the region of La Garrotxa, known as the region of volcanoes. The Vall de Bianya is a set of small and large valleys that flood a territory of prairies, forests and streams. The municipality is formed by several nuclei of population all dispersed by the territory and the majority around a Romanesque church. Historically this valley has many things to tell, as it passes through the Roman road of Capsacosta, a secondary road that linked to the Via Augusta in Rome.

Along the southern half of La Garrotxa stretch almost fifty volcanoes that form a landscape protected by the Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of La Garrotxa, with walking itineraries that run through the most interesting corners of the park. In addition to its natural heritage, this region also has a great architectural heritage as some of its villages such as Besalú, Castellfollit de la Roca, Olot and Santa Pau, among others, show us.

This site is ideal to spend a few quiet days, to relax the stress, where to enjoy some beautiful forests, hiking trails and routes to ride on bicycles or horses.
